Payments Product Specialist

As a Payments Product Specialist, you will help ensure reliable, efficient payment operations across a portfolio of international digital brands. You will manage day-to-day payment processes, monitor transactions, troubleshoot issues, and support the integration of new payment providers. Working extensively with PaymentIQ, you will configure payment rules and flows while identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with Customer Support, Commercial, Integration, and Backend teams to resolve issues and deliver a seamless payment experience. The role combines technical problem-solving, operational ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing global environment. It is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in optimizing payment infrastructure and supporting the continued growth of a multi-brand business.

Accountabilities

  • Manage daily payment operations across multiple brands, monitoring transactions and investigating failed, delayed, incorrect, or otherwise problematic payments.
  • Configure and maintain payment rules within the orchestration platform to optimize payment routing, flows, and overall transaction performance.
  • Support the basic configuration and setup required to integrate new payment providers into existing payment systems.
  • Monitor PaymentIQ performance and proactively identify technical or operational issues that could affect payment availability or customer experience.
  • Work closely with Customer Support and other internal teams to investigate transaction errors and provide timely, effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Integration, Backend, and other relevant teams to improve payment processes and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Support internal stakeholders with payment-related questions, configurations, troubleshooting, and process guidance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payment flows, operational efficiency, and system reliability, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation covering configurations, payment rules, processes, and troubleshooting procedures to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to a consistent and seamless payment experience across brands, payment methods, and customer journeys.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
