Lanas is igniting healthcare innovation

For nearly three decades, we have connected GPs, pharmacists, specialists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals with the best technology possible, from trusted everyday systems to new innovative tools that add real value for our customers.

Our technology is used by millions of clinical users in over twenty countries. From core clinical workflows to AI-driven innovation, our products help reduce admin, improve access, drive efficiencies, and support safer, more connected care.

We are looking for a highly motivated, target-driven Payments Sales & Activation Executive to join the Lanas team in Milton Keynes.

This person will be part of the wider Lanas commercial organisation, partnering closely with colleagues across DGL, iMedDoc, marketing, customer support and product. Their dedicated commercial responsibility will be Billink and the adoption of its integrated payment capabilities across our established customer base.

The initial focus will be predominantly on DGL customers in the UK, with responsibility also extending to opportunities within the iMedDoc customer base.

This is an end-to-end sales and activation role. The successful candidate will identify and develop opportunities, contact practices and consultants, convert customers, enable their payment accounts and help them complete their first successful transactions.

They will promote and support the full range of integrated payment options, including:

  • SMS payment requests.
  • Virtual terminal payments.
  • Physical payment terminals.

This is a hands-on, office-based sales role. A significant part of the working day will involve proactively contacting practices and consultants, progressing opportunities and helping customers begin taking payments.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working at pace, spending considerable time on the phone and being measured against clear sales, activation, usage and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the dedicated commercial lead for Billink adoption within the Lanas customer base.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of payment opportunities across DGL and iMedDoc customers.
  • Proactively contact practices and consultants through outbound calling, email and coordinated marketing campaigns.
  • Clearly explain the benefits of Billink and its integration with the software customers already use.
  • Demonstrate the available payment options, including SMS, virtual terminal and physical terminal payments.
  • Convert interested practices and guide them through the account initiation and enablement process.
  • Complete test SMS and virtual terminal payments with newly enabled customers.
  • Coordinate the ordering and shipment of physical payment terminals.
  • Train customers to use Billink and its payment terminals confidently.
  • Support customers through their first live transactions and ensure that terminals shipped are activated and used.
  • Follow up with enabled customers to address barriers, encourage regular usage and expand adoption across the practice.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and record all customer engagement, progress and agreed next steps.
  • Work closely with the Lanas marketing and commercial teams to make effective use of campaigns, customer relationships and existing leads.
  • Partner with the DGL and iMedDoc teams to identify suitable customers and create effective introductions.
  • Share customer feedback with product and operational colleagues to continually improve onboarding, activation and adoption.
  • Deliver against agreed monthly and quarterly sales, activation, usage and revenue targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How success will be measured

Performance will be measured through a combination of:

  • Qualified opportunities generated.
  • New Billink accounts initiated and enabled.
  • Practices completing their first successful payment.
  • Adoption of SMS and virtual terminal payments.
  • Physical terminals deployed, activated and transacting.
  • Time from initial contact to first transaction.
  • Number of active, regularly transacting customers.
  • Payment volume and revenue generated.
  • Achievement of agreed monthly and quarterly targets.

The performance-related bonus will primarily reward successful activation and sustained customer usage—not simply the number of accounts opened or terminals shipped.

Experience and skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an inside sales, business development, payments or customer activation role.
  • A demonstrable record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Confidence in high-volume outbound telephone engagement.
  • The ability to explain technology and payment products in clear, practical language.
  • Strong pipeline management, follow-up and organisational skills.
  • A persistent, proactive approach and the ability to progress opportunities through to completion.
  • Good commercial judgement and an understanding of how customer adoption translates into recurring revenue.
  • Experience working with healthcare practices, consultants, private healthcare providers or healthcare software would be a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of the UK consultant market or experience selling directly to medical consultants would be particularly valuable.
  • Experience selling payment terminals, merchant services or other financial technology would also be advantageous.

Personal qualities

  • Practical and willing to help customers through setup, testing and initial use.
  • Organised, disciplined and consistent in following up.
  • Able to build strong working relationships across different teams and product areas.
  • Comfortable operating within a growing organisation where initiative and personal ownership are valued.

Why this role matters

Lanas already has an established base of practices and consultants using DGL and iMedDoc. Billink gives those customers a convenient, integrated way to collect payments from their patients without introducing a separate, disconnected system.

This person will have direct ownership of converting that opportunity into active customers, payment volume and recurring revenue.

It is a highly visible commercial role within Lanas, with clear targets, strong support from the wider organisation and meaningful performance-related earning potential.
