Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
In the Payments Strategy & Business Development role you will lead the commercial growth of AMINA Bank's global payments business by acquiring and managing strategic relationships across the payments ecosystem. Leveraging AMINA's regulated banking infrastructure and stablecoin-enabled payment rails, the role will help Payment Service Providers (PSPs), fintechs, financial institutions and corporates solve cross-border payment, treasury and settlement challenges. This is a strategic growth and business development role for an individual with an established network within the payments industry, a proven ability to originate and close enterprise relationships, and the commercial mindset to build a high-growth payments franchise within a regulated Swiss bank.

Your AMINA To-Do List
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for AMINA's payments business, with a focus on cross-border payments, correspondent banking and stablecoin-enabled payment solutions.
- Build, manage and expand relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Payment Institutions, fintechs, payment processors, merchant acquirers, digital asset businesses, embedded finance providers and other participants within the global payments ecosystem.
- Identify, originate and close new business opportunities with institutional clients requiring international payment, treasury and settlement solutions.
- Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including pipeline generation, client engagement, solution design, commercial negotiations and contract execution.
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their payment flows, operational challenges and liquidity requirements, developing tailored fiat and stablecoin-based payment solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Technology teams to successfully onboard clients and deliver scalable payment capabilities.
- Build strategic partnerships with correspondent banks, payment infrastructure providers, settlement partners and financial institutions to strengthen AMINA's payments offering.
- Own commercial growth targets, revenue generation and business development KPIs for the payments business. Maintain accurate CRM reporting and forecasting to track commercial performance against targets.
- Represent AMINA at industry conferences, fintech events and client meetings to expand the bank's presence within the global payments ecosystem.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory developments to identify new market opportunities and maintain AMINA's competitive positioning.

- 8–15+ years of experience in strategic growth, enterprise sales, business development or relationship management within payments, banking, fintech or financial infrastructure.
- Proven success in originating, developing and closing strategic payment partnerships and institutional client relationships.
- Established network across Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Payment Institutions, fintechs, payment processors, merchant acquirers, digital asset companies or embedded finance providers.
- Strong understanding of global payment infrastructure, including correspondent banking, cross-border payments, SWIFT and other international payment networks.
- Good understanding of stable coins, digital assets and blockchain-based payment infrastructure. Experience commercializing stablecoin payment solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities, structure client solutions and build sustainable revenue streams.
- Demonstrated experience launching new markets, products or commercial initiatives within payments, fintech or financial services.
- Excellent executive relationship management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Experience working with international clients across Europe, the UK, Middle East or North America is preferred.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of building a new business line within a fast-growing, regulated financial institution.
