As part of our Medical Billing & Collection (MBC) business, we're looking for a Payments Team Administrator to join our team in Amersham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly.

The Role

As a Payments Team Administrator, you'll provide key administrative support to the Payments team, helping to ensure the efficient handling of payments, enquiries, correspondence, and day-to-day office activities.

You'll be the first point of contact for many incoming queries, processing payments, supporting patients and customers, and helping maintain the smooth operation of the wider team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and distributing inbound post in a timely manner
  • Monitoring and responding to the company information mailbox
  • Taking card payments securely over the telephone
  • Assisting with customer and patient enquiries
  • Supporting daily operational activities, including Embassy and ICON processes
  • Contacting self-pay patients regarding outstanding balances
  • Scanning, filing, shredding, and maintaining documentation
  • Providing general administrative and office support as required
  • Routing calls and enquiries to appropriate account managers and colleagues

Requirements

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Professional, trustworthy, and dependable approach
  • Flexibility and a desire to develop your career

This is a hybrid role based from our Amersham office, with a blend of office and home working.
