Description
- Accurately process payroll for employees within set deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee information.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the transition from temporary to permanent payroll operations as required.

Profile
A successful Payroll Accountant / Payroll Manager should have:
- Experience in payroll processing and related accounting functions.
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle discrepancies efficiently.

Job Offer
- An hourly rate of £18.00 to £22.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- A temporary to permanent opportunity starting as soon as possible.
- A role based in East Grinstead within the business services industry.
