Main purpose of role:
Providing support and day to day cover for the SS&C payroll team with both International and UK payroll services through 3rd party payroll vendors.
Utilising integrated HRIS (Workday) and manual data to provide an efficient and best in class service.
Area/Sub-function:
- Processing & validating a number of payrolls both UK and International.
- Liaising with 3rd party payroll vendor to ensure all payroll deadlines are met, issues resolved, and an accurate payroll delivered.
- Processing new starter and leaver administration.
- Answering payroll queries and resolving employee enquiries quickly and clearly.
- Administration of variable pay elements (e.g. on-call, referral payments, maternity and long term sickness absence).
- Payroll administration relating to processing 3rd party payments.
- Support payslip registration communication process.
- Support tax year end processes (e.g. P60).
- Support employees and payroll process in respect of Jury Service & Maternity Leave (inc. distribution of maternity schedules).

Regulatory:
- To exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the role is responsible for are organised and controlled.

- UK and Ireland payroll and payroll cycle knowledge.
- Payroll system experience.
- Tax and NI/PRSI regulatory knowledge in UK and Ireland.
- Strong attention to details.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Benefits administration.
