Payroll Administrator
We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join an established organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working as part of a collaborative payroll team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of the monthly UK payroll, while supporting payroll queries, reconciliations and wider process improvements. The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the monthly UK payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Managing payroll queries and working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues.
- Supporting year-end returns, including validation and reconciliation of post-payroll output, costing files and month-end reporting.
- Reconciling month-end payments to external agencies, including HMRC and pension providers.
- Reviewing and creating payroll policies and procedures, with a focus on improving efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working within payroll.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with an interest in improving processes and efficiency.
- A collaborative team player who is adaptable and willing to support with wider tasks when required.
