Equans is looking for a Payroll Administrator
Equans is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team based at Callflex Business Park on a temporary basis (12 months). This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
You'll be based at our super modern Shared Services office in Wath-upon-Dearne, which is a dynamic multifunctional operation, where our people are committed to delivering great services that enable our business to meet its goals.

You will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies, while maintaining confidentiality and contributing to employee satisfaction and organizational financial integrity.
What will you deliver?
- Maintain the My Employees Service platform.
- General administrating - updating HR Net records.
- Controlling the onboarding of new starters to the payroll system.
- Processing leavers.
- Stitch documents together & checking data.
- Work cooperatively across multiple IT systems in support of our operational teams on site.
- Any other reasonable request by the line manager.

Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in payroll processing and administration.
- Able to work on your own initiative and with minimum supervision, as and when required.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic.
- Good communicator with interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
- This role includes a Basic DBS check, therefore ability to pass is essential.
