Location: Arundel Office

When to Start: Needed ASAP

Pay: £16/Hr

Hours: 12 Hrs/Week - Flexible hours to suit the right candidate.

Payroll Administrator’s job purpose is to ensure the smooth and accurate payroll process are implemented. They are carried out in a timely manner to ensure staff are paid on time each week.

For this role, you should have a flair for numbers and be able to handle sensitive information. Ensuring GDPR guidelines are met, and all information is kept confidential and only passed to the relevant persons.

Main Activities

  • Using the current systems in place to produce pay slips, invoices Ensuring Pensions, national Insurance and all taxes are paid on time.
  • You will be working within the care sector, so confidentiality is an absolute must.
  • You will be part of a small team, so would need to be able to adopt our family/work ethics and offer support to the management and admin team.

Specific Duties

  • Download and import CSV file from the Care Planner software to Tempaid (Oxford Software)
  • Process the payroll including sending pension information to Now Pensions and FPS information to HMRC.
  • Maintain a suitable accounting system
  • Enter invoices in the accounting package
  • Post/email invoices to clients.
  • Post/email payslips to employees.
  • Enter invoices in a Xero
  • Enter bank statement details, supplier invoices in Xero
  • Pay supplier invoices
  • Provide financial updates to the owner as and when required.
  • Debt chase as required.
  • Reconcile bank statements, Xero and Tempaid.
  • Deal with queries as and when required via phone and email.
  • Take card payments from clients.

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Processes of the above
  • Knowledge of XERO
  • Preferrable Knowledge of Tempaid, however it is not essential as training will be given.
  • Knowledge of care is not essential but is an added benefit

Essential Requirement

  • An enhanced disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Scheme (DBS).
  • 2 References
  • UK Full Driving License
  • Completion of Induction Face to face training
  • Approx. 11 hours training
