Payroll Administrator
Ref: SC5058
Salary on appointment: £26,707 per annum, with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join the Payroll Team to assist the Payroll Manager in delivering excellent customer service in payroll delivery.
Working with Payroll and Pensions colleagues, you will ensure that payments are made correctly and on time to UEA staff, including occasional and casual employees, and that all deductions are made in accordance with legislative requirements. You will review and process data received from the wider University and external agencies, including contracts, timesheets, and information from HMRC. You will have experience of dealing with statutory payments and deductions and be able to process manual payroll calculations.

There will also be opportunities to contribute to process improvements, work closely with the Pensions team and wider Finance colleagues, and support key payroll activities and reporting. Training routes may be available for candidates who wish to pursue formal qualifications.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
