Salary: £29,697 - £34,267 dependent on experience

We're looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Bristol to play a vital role in ensuring our people are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time. This is an opportunity to develop your expertise within a business that actively supports career progression and professional development.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for delivering accurate weekly and monthly payrolls, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and acting as a trusted point of contact for payroll-related queries.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payroll accurately
- Administer new starters, leavers, contractual changes, and pay progression updates
- Manage statutory and contractual payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPP, etc.)
- Apply payroll deductions in line with company agreements and legislation
- Complete payroll checks, test runs, and final processing
- Prepare BACS documentation and payroll reports
- Handle payroll queries professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with HR, Operations, and Finance teams

About You
- Previous payroll administration experience, ideally working in a complex organization
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Committed to confidentiality and excellent customer service
End-to-end payroll processing experience is desirable, but not essential. Occasional flexibility around payroll deadlines will be required.
