Job Title: Payroll Adviser

Location: Blackburn (hybrid)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a long standing client of ours as they are looking to recruit a Payroll Adviser to join their growing team. Based in the heart of Blackburn, you will be responsible for the processing of clients payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

Prior experience within in accountancy practice/bureau is essential.

What you will be doing:

  • Calculating and processing net pay, for each employee on a client’s payroll
  • Collecting and entering high volumes of payroll data, supplied by clients,
  • Ensuring all payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Liaising with clients regarding amounts due to HMRC
  • Production for transmission via BACS on the relevant dates, of net pay details ensuring the correct bank details are in place
  • Reporting payroll figures in order to produce all relevant month and year end reports for each client.
  • Assisting with transmission to HMRC, P45, P46, FPS and EPS returns.
  • Having an awareness of CIS, the deadlines and responsibilities required

  • Minimum 2 years experience within a Payroll Bureau/Practice
  • Strong attention to detail
