About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Advisor to join Portfolio Payroll Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of a first-class payroll service. Your primary focus will be processing multiple payrolls accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance standards, and best practices. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within a similar advisory or client-facing role. A strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and payroll software is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients. A relevant qualification such as a payroll certification or diploma (e.g., CIPP, IPP) is desirable but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are crucial for success in this role. A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous professional development will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Act as a payroll advisor, providing expert guidance to clients on payroll processes and compliance matters.
- Process end-to-end payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle payroll queries from clients, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and industry regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve payroll procedures and implement best practices.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in all payroll transactions.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, summaries, and documentation as required.
- Support clients during audits and assist with any payroll-related investigations or inquiries.
- Contribute to the development of team knowledge and expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
