As a Payroll Advisor at Nuclear Restoration Services, you'll play a key role in supporting colleagues across the UK, helping to deliver an accurate, efficient and trusted payroll and people service. With the flexibility to be based at any NRS site, this is an opportunity to join a central team that supports the entire organisation.
From answering payroll queries and supporting employees to improving processes and systems, your work will have a direct impact on the day-to-day experience of our people. What You Will Be Doing
You'll help deliver an effective payroll and HR service that keeps the organisation running smoothly. From supporting employees and managers with day-to-day queries to ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently, you'll play a vital role in maintaining trust and confidence in the service provided. Your work will have a direct impact on the employee experience, making accuracy, responsiveness and attention to detail essential.
Working closely with colleagues across HR and the wider business, you'll also help identify opportunities to improve processes, simplify ways of working and enhance service delivery. Whether supporting payroll-related activities, contributing to projects or assisting with system improvements, you'll have the opportunity to influence positive change across the organisation.

- Provide accurate advice and guidance on payroll and HR-related queries.
- Produce management information and support analysis of payroll and people data.
- Assist with system improvements, testing activities and issue resolution.
- Support and coach HR Administrators while deputising for the HR Lead when required.
Who Are We Looking For?
You must hold National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 3 / SCQF Level 6. You'll have demonstrable experience gained within a payroll, HR or people services environment and be comfortable managing queries, processing information accurately and working to deadlines. You'll enjoy being a trusted point of contact for employees and managers while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.
You'll be organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Experience working with HR and payroll systems will help you succeed in the role, while candidates working towards further professional development, such as CIPD qualifications, will be well placed to grow within the wider HR function. - Familiarity with GDPR and data protection requirements when handling employee information.
- Experience using HR, payroll or people systems such as Business World, ATS or LMS platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly when working with data and reporting.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and service.
