Payroll and Commission Apprentice (Level 3)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (on site full time)
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin an apprenticeship within accountancy/payroll working for a leading global recruitment agency based in Newcastle! Alongside your work, you will be expected to study for a Level 3 Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship.
Reporting into the Global Manager you will split your time across both the Payroll and Commission Team, gaining exposure to both areas of the business. You will be responsible for supporting our current commission administrators processing internal commission/bonus – this involves processing calculations, collating data requests and responding to queries/resolving issues when raised. You will also assist the payroll team in the end to end processing of our internal global payrolls, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing commission/bonus data and calculations, adhering to the set KPIs.
- Assisting with the processing of payroll, employee and timesheet data.
- Assisting the team with the tracking of bank transactions.
- Responding/resolving queries in line with the set SLA’s.
- Assisting the wider team with ad hoc tasks.
- Using Excel and issuing basic calculation breakdowns.
- Working with data reports.
- Supporting on projects.
- Alongside your work, you will be undertaking a Level 3 Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship.

Role Requirements:
- No payroll experience is required.
- Confident Excel user.
We can only consider applicants who meet the eligible criteria for an apprenticeship. All applicants must hold full Right to Work both now and in the future, no sponsorship available.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be over 16 years old.
- Cannot be in full time education.
- Must hold full right to work.
- Resident in the UK for at least 3 years.
- Does not already hold a qualification at the same level or higher in the same vocational area.
