About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll and Finance Administrator to join our Northampton office based in Grange Park. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to play a key role within our HR and Finance teams, ensuring the accurate and efficient administration of payroll, benefits and other financial processes.

Working closely with our HR Director and Finance Director, you will take ownership of payroll administration while supporting pension admin, benefits, expenses, budgeting and financial reporting activities.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week across 5 days. The salary is pro-rata'd, with the full time equivalent being £32,000-£38,000 per annum (depending on experience). Due to the nature of payroll processing, we are seeking someone who can offer flexibility in their working pattern when required. While working hours will be agreed in advance, there may be occasions when adjustments are needed to align with payroll deadlines and month-end activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
