Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Payroll and Finance Coordinator role based in Market Bosworth. The Payroll and Finance Coordinator will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments, statutory deductions, and compliance with relevant regulations. The role includes maintaining payroll records, handling employee payroll queries, and supporting benefits and overtime calculations. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve assisting with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, financial data entry, and preparation of regular financial reports. The coordinator will collaborate closely with HR and finance colleagues, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of payroll and finance procedures.

Qualifications

- Experience in all aspects of payroll, including end-to-end processing, statutory deductions, and payroll compliance is essential.
- Background in finance support functions, such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial data entry is desirable.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or payroll software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of UK payroll legislation, tax, NI, pensions, and benefits administration is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an advantage.
- Relevant qualification in payroll, finance, or accounting (e.g., AAT, payroll certification) is desirable.
