Payroll Assistant
Location: Wantage
Contract Type: 3-Month Contract initially
Pay: £16.41ph
Butler Rose is working with a large international manufacturing organisation based in Wantage, and they are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their busy payroll team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with payroll or finance administration experience to gain exposure within a global business and play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.

- Supporting the preparation and processing of monthly payroll
- Maintaining payroll records, including starters, leavers, salary changes, and deductions
- Processing overtime, bonuses, expenses, and statutory payments
- Responding to employee payroll queries and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with payroll compliance, reporting, and year-end activities
- Supporting payroll system administration and data management
Key Skills Required
- Previous experience in payroll
- Understanding of UK payroll processes and legislation
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good Excel and IT skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and team-focused approach
