What’s in It for You?
At FläktGroup UK, we’re looking for a Payroll Assistant based in Hereford to support the payroll function of FG UK and FG Ireland by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll related tasks and contributing to the smooth running of payroll operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Verify and process weekly expense runs for FG UK and FG Ireland
- Process weekly engineer timesheets and calculate overtime for FG UK and FG Ireland
- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for FG UK and FG Ireland
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for UK and Irish legislation under guidance from the Payroll Manager and Purchase Ledger supervisor
- Respond to employee queries
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards

What You Bring
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Administrative experience in a finance, payroll, HR or office environment
- Basic understanding of the payroll process and awareness of statutory deductions with a willingness to learn payroll systems and procedures
- Experience working to deadlines in a routine or cyclical environment
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Bonus Points For
- Previous experience in a payroll or finance-related role
- Knowledge of UK and/or Irish payroll and employment legislation
- Knowledge of payroll systems
