Job Description

Joining the Finance team, you will support global payroll operations across seven countries including the UK, USA, and Singapore. Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you’ll manage execution, statutory reporting, and benefit alignment. This role is essential for scaling processes as the company expands its international presence, particularly with the new Lisbon engineering hub.

What You Will Do

  • Support end-to-end global payroll processes for seven countries, ensuring compliance with local legislation and timely statutory reporting.
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll spend and ensure employee benefits are accurately aligned with providers.
  • Assist in implementing new payroll systems and optimizing existing workflows to support Thought Machine's rapid international expansion.

  • Proven experience processing payroll across multiple countries with a deep understanding of international controls and best practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills and technical proficiency with payroll or HR systems, with Workday experience considered a significant advantage.
