About the Role
Join a growing retail business as a Payroll Assistant, supporting payroll for a multi-site workforce and working closely with HR and Finance to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Description
- Process payroll transactions accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Resolve payroll-related queries from employees and management.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data.
- Assist with tax filings and reporting requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.

Profile
A Successful Payroll Assistant Should Have
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Job Offer
- Salary between £32,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position in the business services industry.
