About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll & Benefits professional to join a growing Reward team, supporting the delivery of payroll, pensions, and employee benefits across the organisation. The role combines hands-on payroll processing with benefits administration, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with HR, Finance, external providers, and employees across the business, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll and benefits services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and compliantly, while also contributing to wider people and systems projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and internal controls.
- Act as a key point of contact for payroll, pension, and benefits queries, providing guidance and resolving complex issues.
- Support the administration and ongoing development of employee benefits programmes, including provider management, renewals, reporting, and communications.
- Manage pension processes, auto-enrolment activities, and payroll-related reporting requirements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Drive process improvements, maintain documentation, and contribute to systems enhancements and business projects.
- Support payroll audits, data integrity initiatives, and the production of management reporting and analysis.

Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing UK payroll operations within a complex corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of pensions, employee benefits administration, and payroll legislation.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems; Workday experience would be highly advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret payroll and benefits data.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
