Summary
Do you have experience as a Payroll Business Analyst supporting complex payroll transformation, stabilisation or review programmes?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading UK telecommunications and media organisation, undertaking an independent review of its payroll service and defining a sustainable future operating model.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- strong Business Analysis experience within complex payroll environments
- hands-on experience of payroll process mapping, root cause analysis and data analysis
- experience working across HR/People, Payroll, Finance, IT and third-party providers
- a strong understanding of payroll controls, governance and operational risk
- experience supporting payroll transformation, system implementation or stabilisation programmes

Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- support end-to-end diagnostic analysis across payroll processes, systems, data, controls and governance
- facilitate process walkthroughs and document current-state processes, issues, dependencies and control gaps
- analyse payroll data and evidence to identify trends, exceptions and potential root causes
- support the development and validation of future-state processes, requirements and the Target Operating Model
- maintain structured analysis of risks, issues, actions and improvement opportunities
- work closely with client stakeholders and third-party providers to gather and validate evidence
- support the identification and definition of practical tactical improvements and longer-term recommendations
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- significant Payroll Business Analyst experience
- strong process mapping and requirements analysis capability
- payroll data analysis and data validation experience
- experience of root cause analysis and process improvement
- understanding of payroll controls, governance and audit requirements
- experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments involving HR/People, Finance, IT and third-party providers
- excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and documentation skills

Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- experience of Oracle Fusion Payroll would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
