Abbas & Co UK Ltd is a growing accountancy practice in Harrow, providing high-quality accounting, tax, and business support services. We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll Clerk to join our team and support our expanding client base.
🔹 What You’ll Do
- Process weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc payrolls
- Maintain accurate employee and subcontractor records
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- Manage payroll taxes, statutory payments, and deductions
- Prepare and submit pension contributions (auto-enrolment)
- Prepare and submit CIS returns, including subcontractor verification
- Use payroll software (including Moneysoft Payroll Manager)
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding payroll queries
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth workflow
- Support year-end tasks such as P60s, P11Ds, and reconciliations

🔹 What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management
- Knowledge of payroll taxes, statutory deductions, and UK compliance
- Experience with pension submissions and CIS processes
- Moneysoft experience is highly beneficial
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Previous payroll or accounting experience preferred
