About The Role
Linsco is currently seeking a dedicated Temporary Payroll Clerk to join one of our esteemed clients' teams on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible working hours and an opportunity to contribute to the financial and administrative operations of a dynamic organization. The position involves working one day per week, with Tuesday being the preferred day, and entails supporting the company's day-to-day finance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing invoices, assisting with payroll processing, and performing general administrative duties. This role offers an excellent chance to gain valuable experience within a supportive team environment, while maintaining a flexible work schedule that can accommodate other commitments.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in finance administration, particularly in purchase ledger, payroll, or general finance support. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential to ensure precise financial record-keeping and processing. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks within a limited timeframe. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with computer-based financial systems, is required. Confidence in working independently and managing workload efficiently is crucial. Previous payroll experience is preferred but not mandatory, provided the candidate has a solid foundation in finance administration and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Processing and paying supplier invoices accurately and promptly to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assisting with the preparation and processing of weekly payroll and wages, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payroll documentation.
- Completing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence related to finance activities.
- Providing support to the wider office team as needed, including assisting with other clerical and administrative duties.
