About The Role
Linsco is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Clerk to join one of our client's teams on a part-time basis. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in purchase ledger, payroll, or general finance administration. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential to ensure the integrity of financial records. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks within a limited timeframe. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as familiarity with computer-based financial systems, is required. The ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and adapt to changing priorities is crucial. Prior payroll experience is preferred but not mandatory, provided the candidate demonstrates a willingness to learn and develop in this area.
Responsibilities
- Processing and paying supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with the preparation and administration of weekly payroll and wages.
- Maintaining precise and up-to-date financial records to support audit and reporting requirements.
- Completing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence related to finance functions.
- Providing support to the wider office team as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
