About The Role

Linsco is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Clerk to join one of our client's teams on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible working hours and who possess a strong background in finance administration. The position involves supporting the daily financial operations of the business, including processing invoices, assisting with payroll, and performing general administrative duties. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in purchase ledger, payroll, or general finance administration. A solid understanding of financial procedures and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are essential. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required, alongside familiarity with computer-based financial systems. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. Previous payroll experience is preferred but not mandatory. Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role. A proactive attitude and strong communication skills will also be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and paying supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the preparation and administration of weekly payroll and wages.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Completing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Providing support to the wider office team as needed, including handling inquiries and assisting with other finance-related duties.
