About The Role
Linsco is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Clerk to join our client's team on a part-time basis. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in finance-related roles, particularly in purchase ledger, payroll, or general finance administration. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential to ensure financial records are maintained correctly. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle workload effectively within limited hours. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and familiarity with computer-based financial systems are required. Previous payroll experience is preferred but not mandatory, provided the candidate has a solid understanding of payroll processes and financial administration. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Processing and paying supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
- Assisting with the weekly payroll and wages, ensuring timely and correct payments.
- Maintaining precise and up-to-date financial records to support audit and reporting requirements.
- Completing various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence related to finance functions.
- Providing general support to the wider office team, including handling inquiries and assisting with other administrative duties as needed.
