12 Month Maternity Cover
We are working exclusively with a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Payroll Coordinator on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role is based fully on site in Livingston.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Maintaining accurate payroll and employee records
- Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, and other payroll adjustments
- Carrying out payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Managing PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory requirements
- Supporting year-end processes, including P11D administration
- Processing wage arrestments and pension administration
- Maintaining holiday and absence records
- Preparing payroll and worked-hours reports for Finance
- Responding to employee payroll queries

About you

- Experience processing payroll, ideally end-to-end
- Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, and statutory requirements
- Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A methodical approach and the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Good IT and payroll systems experience
