Role Description

We’re looking for a detail driven and proactive Payroll Coordinator to take ownership of the end-to-end processing of both UK and international payrolls. In this role, you’ll ensure all payroll activities follow the correct procedures and that payments are delivered accurately and on time.

You’ll be responsible for entering and validating key payroll data, ensuring contractors and clients are invoiced and paid correctly. You’ll also handle invoice queries, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and clarify any tax-related matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a smooth, reliable payroll service.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Manage the weekly setup of new starters, ensuring personal details, contract changes and termination information are accurately recorded.
  • Process incoming timesheets and expense claims, ensuring all documentation is correctly validated and systematically filed.
  • Carry out all required quality control checks before and after payroll processing to maintain exceptional accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce and organise payroll reports, payslips, remittances and invoices, ensuring they are filed in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Submit all necessary payroll data to the Finance team within agreed deadlines.
  • Handle payroll-related queries from contractors via phone, email or written correspondence, providing timely and professional support.
  • Work collaboratively with the Credit Control and Billing teams to gather essential billing information and assist in resolving any related queries.
  • Maintain accurate pay history records for foreign taxpayers and liaise with the Company Accountant to meet monthly payment deadlines.
  • Analyse PAYE liabilities from monthly payroll reports and work with the Accounts team to ensure payments are completed on time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
