About Granite Recruitment
Granite Recruitment is an energy-focused recruitment agency placing skilled contractors with leading clients across the sector. We are looking for an organised and detail-driven Payroll Coordinator to join our team and support the smooth, accurate payment of our contractor workforce.
The Role
- Process payments for limited company contractors accurately and on time.
- Work closely with the supply chain to support payments for umbrella, CIS and PAYE workers.
- Raise invoices and help ensure payroll and billing information is correct.
- Maintain accurate records and support smooth communication between payroll, accounts and operations.

About You
- Basic accounting knowledge and confidence working with figures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a reliable, accurate approach to work.
- Experience with Xero would be helpful.
- An understanding of employee tax, gross pay costs, CIS, PAYE or umbrella payroll would be advantageous.
- Awareness of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

This is initially a contract role based in our Aberdeen office, although we may consider a permanent staff position for the right person. If you are organised, numerate and keen to play a key role in contractor payroll within the energy recruitment sector, we would like to hear from you.
