About The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Executive to join our team at DK Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes across multiple entities, ensuring that all payroll activities are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with statutory regulations. Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing payroll processes from start to finish
  • Solid understanding of payroll systems and compliance requirements
  • Relevant payroll qualification such as CIPP or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with payroll software like Sage 50 Payroll or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
  • Experience working with multiple legal entities
  • Knowledge of payroll reporting and journals (advantageous)
  • Proactive attitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process end-to-end payroll across three separate entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Submit Real Time Information (RTI) reports to HMRC within statutory deadlines, maintaining compliance with UK payroll regulations
  • Process pension contributions and ensure compliance with auto-enrollment regulations
  • Prepare and post payroll journals, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain precise payroll records in line with GDPR and data protection standards
  • Handle and resolve employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially, providing excellent customer service
  • Work with timekeeping systems and generate payroll reports to support management decision-making
  • Assist in improving payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
