About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Executive to join our team at DK Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes across multiple entities, ensuring that all payroll activities are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll administration, a high level of confidentiality, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications
- Proven experience managing payroll processes from start to finish
- Solid understanding of payroll systems and compliance requirements
- Relevant payroll qualification such as CIPP or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with payroll software like Sage 50 Payroll or similar
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
- Experience working with multiple legal entities
- Knowledge of payroll reporting and journals (advantageous)
- Proactive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Manage and process end-to-end payroll across three separate entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Submit Real Time Information (RTI) reports to HMRC within statutory deadlines, maintaining compliance with UK payroll regulations
- Process pension contributions and ensure compliance with auto-enrollment regulations
- Prepare and post payroll journals, ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Maintain precise payroll records in line with GDPR and data protection standards
- Handle and resolve employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially, providing excellent customer service
- Work with timekeeping systems and generate payroll reports to support management decision-making
- Assist in improving payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
