We are recruiting for a Regional Payroll & HR Specialist, a varied role combining international payroll responsibility with broader UK HR support.

Role Overview

Around 50% of the role will focus on payroll activities across multiple countries, working closely with Spectrum Brands’ global payroll outsourcing partner. The remainder will support the UK HR team across a range of HR administration and processes.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, compliantly, and on time, while supporting the smooth running of UK HR operations.

International Payroll

  • Manage accurate and timely payroll processing across assigned countries, working with external providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and audit payroll data from Workday, Excel, time & attendance and third-party payroll systems, including joiners, leavers, pay changes, and variable payments.
  • Review and reconcile payroll inputs and outputs, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with controls and local legislation.
  • Manage EMEA payroll queries and provide support on complex payroll transactions.
  • Support payroll reporting, tax filings, off-cycle payments, and employee payroll records.
  • Maintain knowledge of country-specific legislation and build strong relationships with payroll providers, HR leaders, and Country Managers.
  • Support global payroll projects, system implementations, and process improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
