The Role

As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you will work as part of Heywood’s Project and Implementation team, effectively managing and delivering payroll software solutions to new and existing customers.

You will provide UAT support, ensuring processes and documentation are updated as well as using a variety of technical skills, including SQL and Excel, to deliver strong professional service to customers.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Delivering payroll software solutions to customers
  • Providing training, both internally and externally, and perform testing on Heywood’s new payroll product modules as required
  • Providing 3rd line support to our Service Desk team on an ad hoc basis
  • Working with software developers to maintain and enhance our product
  • Producing high quality documentation – including Payroll Implementation Studies
  • Producing test plans and assisting with release readiness testing
  • Documenting and maintaining processes and procedures
  • Providing support and training both internally and externally
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Payroll Implementation Consultants work collaboratively with customers throughout the full payroll implementation lifecycle, from initial payroll study through to full customer payroll implementation, training and post-implementation support throughout the project.
