Payroll Manager

Permanent role

Location: London

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days office based

Signet are delighted to be supporting a large, multisite business in the UK with a Payroll Manager hire with a key role within their growing business, responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll for circa 2000 employees. In this role, you will combine hands-on payroll management with stakeholder partnering and also process improvement across the organisation.

Key elements to the role:

  • Lead weekly and monthly payrolls via ADP
  • Complete payroll checks and sign-off cycles
  • Ensure accurate processing of employee changes and benefits (pensions, PMI, P11Ds, statutory reporting)
  • Partner with HR and Finance to provide payroll insight and support budgeting
  • Drive payroll system improvements, and improving ways of working

  • Strong high-volume payroll experience
  • Someone who is extremely date-led and hands-on, but also be able to pivot to a more strategic way of thinking
  • Confident stakeholder manager with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
