Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering with a rapidly expanding technology business to recruit a Payroll Manager initially on a 12-month FTC.

This is initially a 12-month FTC. 2 days PW in the office managing 1 direct report. Reporting into the Finance manager.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • To lead and develop the Group payroll function, ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant delivery of payroll services across the business
  • Responsible for four payrolls, multiple pension schemes, payroll-related employee benefits, payroll compliance, controls, reporting and continuous improvement
  • Lead, coach and develop the Payroll & Benefits Officer, ensuring workloads are appropriately managed and service standards are achieved
  • Ensure compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, pension legislation, auto-enrolment requirements and all associated HMRC obligations.
  • Manage multiple pension schemes, ensuring pensionable pay, employee deductions, employer contributions and statutory requirements are administered accurately.
  • Own payroll controls, reconciliations and audit processes, ensuring payroll information is accurate, complete and appropriately documented.
  • Manage all year-end payroll activities including P60s, P11Ds, Benefits-in-Kind reporting and pension re-enrolment activities.
  • Ensure salary sacrifice and benefit schemes are administered effectively, including electric vehicle schemes, private medical insurance, cycle-to-work schemes and other employee benefits.
