As a Payroll Manager in Edinburgh

You'll be in charge of the day-to-day running of payroll operations for a healthcare business, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role is key to keeping the accounting and finance department running smoothly and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations.

A healthcare organisation based in Edinburgh, with multiple offices across Scotland.

Description

  • Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
  • Manage payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.
  • Implement and improve payroll systems and procedures as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Profile

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  • Strong experience managing payroll processes within a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant software, sage would be advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.

  • Good communication skills to address employee queries effectively.
