Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Finance team in a role with a strong focus on payroll administration and financial accounting.

This position would suit an individual who has previous experience working within a payroll, finance, or accounting environment and is looking to further develop their career within a dynamic manufacturing business. The successful candidate will take ownership of key payroll processes while supporting financial reporting, controls, and compliance activities.

Working closely with Finance, HR, and operational teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining financial controls, and supporting the delivery of timely and accurate financial information.

About The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership and completion of weekly and monthly payrolls, including management of the Time & Attendance system.
• Processing payroll-related queries and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Completion of associated general ledger journals.
• Production of monthly headcount and people-related reporting.
• Recharging of costs within the Group.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Analysing expenditure for Corporation Tax reporting requirements.
• Supporting the monthly reporting process and submission of results to the Group, including:
  • Indirect and Direct Material reporting
  • Purchasing and Manufacturing Excellence reporting
  • Headbridge reporting
  • Sustainability and people data reporting
• Supporting annual stocktakes.
• Assisting with internal and external audits.
• Identifying opportunities to improve payroll and finance processes.
