Join #TeamDA as a Payroll Senior

We are looking for a motivated and organised Payroll Senior to join our team, supporting the delivery of a high quality service to a varied client base. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for managing client payrolls while working closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure efficiency, accuracy and excellent customer care. It is well suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to maintaining high standards and building strong client relationships.

About The Role

As a Payroll Senior, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient and high quality payroll service to a varied portfolio of clients. A key focus of this role will be managing payroll processes from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed accurately, on time and in line with current legislation while maintaining excellent client care.

  • You will be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls, preparing reports and submitting information to HMRC and pension providers.
  • The role also involves acting as a main point of contact for client queries, providing clear and timely support and building strong working relationships.

Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will support the day to day running of the team, assisting with workflow management, identifying opportunities to improve processes and helping to maintain high standards across the department. You will also contribute to the development of junior team members by providing guidance and support where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
