Salary £28,142-£32,061 Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Payroll

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Payroll Services at Lancashire County Council. The service provides payroll to over 45,000 employees for a diverse range of clients which include over 500 schools, district councils, academies, and multi academy trust clients.

The Role

The role of the Payroll Officer is to support the efficient administration of a quality, accurate, and timely payroll, and pensions function in accordance with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations. You will be part of a supportive team including a team leader and two senior colleagues, who provide a professional payroll service, working to monthly deadlines, and achieving monthly performance targets.

Requirements:

  • Strong communications skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Experience of working within a team.
  • Experience of working to deadlines.
