International Payroll Transition Specialist (Belgium & Netherlands)

Basildon

Contract through March 2027 with potential extension

We have partnered with a leading global payments and financial technology organisation to recruit an International Payroll Transition Specialist to support a major EMEA payroll transformation programme.

Following multiple acquisitions across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, the organisation is undertaking a complex payroll harmonisation programme to standardise payroll processes, vendors, and terms & conditions across the region.

This is a critical delivery role within a programme that is already underway. We're looking for someone who can quickly understand the current landscape, work independently, and make an immediate impact with minimal onboarding.

This role is best suited to experienced International Payroll Transition Specialists with strong payroll expertise across Belgium and the Netherlands who have successfully delivered multi-country payroll vendor migrations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead international payroll transition activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
  • Deliver end-to-end payroll vendor migrations, including planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Manage UAT, payroll parallel runs, reconciliations, payroll validation, and issue resolution.
  • Support the harmonisation of payroll processes, policies, and terms & conditions across multiple acquired businesses.
  • Create SOPs, process documentation, and deliver knowledge transfer to BAU payroll teams.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, external payroll providers, HRIS teams, and programme stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage multiple payroll transition workstreams simultaneously while maintaining programme timelines.
  • Identify project risks, manage dependencies, and provide regular stakeholder updates throughout the transition lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
