About The Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's expanding payroll team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a global organization that values accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments for employees across multiple regions, including the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, contribute to maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and support administrative functions related to employee compensation and benefits.

Qualifications
- Robust background in payroll processing with a proven track record of managing high-volume payroll operations.
- Experience with administering time and attendance systems, employee benefits, and payroll software.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Thorough understanding of payroll legislation applicable to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Relevant certifications or training in payroll management considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for weekly and monthly employees across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Process payroll data, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory contributions, using the designated payroll system.
- Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and relevant stakeholders promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and update the in-house time and attendance system to reflect accurate working hours and leave data.
- Prepare and maintain detailed payroll records, reports, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless onboarding, changes, and terminations related to employee payroll data.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable payroll legislation, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Support payroll audits and participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
