Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join a well-established organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting payroll operations and payroll systems across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including statutory reporting requirements
  • Maintain and monitor payroll data interfaces from HR systems to payroll
  • Resolve payroll system and employee payroll queries
  • Complete manual payroll calculations where required
  • Support payroll system upgrades, testing, and maintenance activities
  • Manage HMRC submissions and ensure compliance with payroll legislation
  • Produce payroll reports for management approval
  • Support employee benefits reporting and pension-related processes
  • Ensure GDPR, audit, and SOX compliance requirements are met
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to resolve issues

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong end-to-end payroll experience and up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge
  • Excellent payroll calculation and analytical skills
  • Experience using payroll systems and payroll software
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience supporting system testing and process improvements
  • Ability to explain complex payroll matters clearly and professionally
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Payroll or Finance qualification preferred
