Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join a well-established organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting payroll operations and payroll systems across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including statutory reporting requirements
- Maintain and monitor payroll data interfaces from HR systems to payroll
- Resolve payroll system and employee payroll queries
- Complete manual payroll calculations where required
- Support payroll system upgrades, testing, and maintenance activities
- Manage HMRC submissions and ensure compliance with payroll legislation
- Produce payroll reports for management approval
- Support employee benefits reporting and pension-related processes
- Ensure GDPR, audit, and SOX compliance requirements are met
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to resolve issues

What We're Looking For:
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience and up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge
- Excellent payroll calculation and analytical skills
- Experience using payroll systems and payroll software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience supporting system testing and process improvements
- Ability to explain complex payroll matters clearly and professionally
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Payroll or Finance qualification preferred
