Role Overview

You will be joining a very well-established and well-known Telecommunications business as their Payroll Specialist on an initial 3 month temporary contract (day rate). This role will be part of the supportive, high-performing and collaborative People and HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys owning the end-to-end payroll process, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role will be based fully remotely but if you would prefer to work from an office, there are offices available in Central London, Bedfordshire, Birmingham and Manchester.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of monthly payroll through an outsourced payroll provider. Acting as the key point of contact for payroll operations, you will ensure payroll data is submitted accurately, outputs are thoroughly validated, and all payroll activities remain compliant with UK legislation and internal controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
