Role: Payroll Specialist
Location: Reading, UK
Experience: 4+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end UK payroll processing.
- Process starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory payments.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, RTI, pensions, and UK payroll legislation.
- Complete payroll reconciliations and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit HMRC/RTI reports.
- Manage employee payroll queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams.
- Support payroll audits and ensure all payroll deadlines are met.

- 4+ years of UK Payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, RTI, and UK payroll legislation.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Experience with UK pension schemes and statutory payments.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
