About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and processing payroll for a diverse employee base across multiple regions, including the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of relevant experience and skills, including:

  • Proven experience in high-volume, end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Experience administering time and attendance systems effectively.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant payroll or HR certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure smooth payroll operations, including:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll for employees across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Handling payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders promptly and professionally.
  • Monitoring and updating the in-house time and attendance system to ensure accurate recording of hours worked.
  • Administering employee benefits, including pension schemes, medical insurance, and other perks.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring data confidentiality and security.
  • Preparing payroll reports and submitting necessary documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Staying updated with changes in payroll legislation and implementing necessary adjustments to procedures.
