Your new company

An experienced Payroll Specialist is required to join a well-established organisation on an urgent 3-month contract to take ownership of the payroll function and resolve several key payroll priorities, including outstanding P11D submissions.

Location: Bournemouth/Flexible Hybrid Working

Duration: 3 Months Temporary Contract

Start Date: Immediate

Your new role

  • Manage the monthly payroll for approximately 400+ employees across multiple sites
  • Process all payroll changes, including new starters, leavers, salary amendments and contractual variations
  • Administer holiday pay and other statutory payments
  • Manage auto-enrolment and pension scheme administration
  • Liaise with HMRC and ensure payroll compliance
  • Resolve employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Process employee expenses
  • Prepare payroll reports and management information
  • Complete payroll reconciliations and journals
  • Ensure outstanding P11Ds are completed and submitted
  • Identify and address any payroll issues, ensuring an accurate and efficient payroll function

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven end-to-end payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Experience with pensions, auto-enrolment and statutory payments
  • Previous P11D experience is essential
  • Able to work independently and quickly assess priorities
  • Available to start immediately or at short notice
