Payroll & Systems Lead
My client is looking for a Payroll & Systems Lead. This role combines hands-on payroll delivery with responsibility for co-ordinating a significant payroll transformation programme. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish robust processes, support effective change management and ensure a successful transition. Payroll processing and delivery across the UK, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain remain core responsibilities throughout the implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Payroll Transformation: Play a leading role in the implementation across payroll, HR, time and attendance and scheduling. Co-ordinate project activities. Gather and translate business requirements into practical solutions that support payroll centralisation and process improvement.
- Payroll Operations: Co-ordinate payroll operations across the UK and multiple European countries, working with local payroll providers. Day-to-day support, guidance and workload coordination for 2 Payroll Co-ordinators. Prepare reconciliations, reporting and supporting documentation. Key point of contact for payroll providers.

- Experience of co-ordinating payroll activities across multiple countries
- CIPP qualification or equivalent payroll knowledge
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, controls, reconciliations and payroll
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations
- Ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Confident working with data
- Strong stakeholder management
