Payroll Service Team Leader

Location: Weybridge, with travel to ISS offices and client sites as required

What you’ll do

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the Payroll Service Team, ensuring workloads and SLAs are effectively managed.
  • Coach, support and develop Payroll Service Advisors through feedback, training and performance management.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex, sensitive or unresolved payroll queries.
  • Monitor team performance, quality and productivity against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Analyse service data and customer feedback to identify trends, root causes and improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with Payroll Delivery and key stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance the service.
  • Promote best practice and a culture of continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven payroll and customer service experience.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or supervising a team.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
