About the Role
CleanTEC Services Ltd is seeking a Payroll/Admin Assistant to join our Watford office.
This is a varied administrative role supporting our payroll and HR processes, from onboarding new staff to handling day-to-day queries. You'll play a key part in ensuring our people processes run smoothly and accurately, working closely with the wider team.
Experience in payroll is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.

- Check and process forms, including Right to Work documentation
- Process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications
- Onboard new staff and enter details onto our bespoke system
- Assist with payroll processes
- Deal with phone queries and emails
- Manage absence processes, including sickness and SSP1 forms
- General administration and filing
Skills & Experience
- Previous payroll or administrative experience is an advantage but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident handling confidential and sensitive information
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Benefits
- £26,500 per annum
- Death in service insurance equal to one year's salary
- Pension scheme, plus healthcare after 12 months' continuous service
- Holiday entitlement: 28 days including bank holidays
- Full training provided
